Regular Season Round 29: Energa Czarni - Rosa Radom 74-71

The most exciting game of round 29 in the TBL took place in Slupsk. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Rosa (20-9) to sixth ranked Energa Czarni (20-8) 74-71 in the game for the fourth place. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Rosa. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 20-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) stepped up and scored 13 points and 8 assists for the winners and swingman Karol Gruszecki (193-89, college: Texas Arlington) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Danny Gibson (177-84, college: S.Indiana) responded with 12 points and 4 assists and the other American import guard Michael Taylor (186-86, college: Iowa St.) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. Energa Czarni have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Rosa at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Slask Wroclaw. Energa Czarni are looking forward to face Polpharma (#15) in Starogard in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Rosa will play at home against Stabill Jezioro (#16) and is hoping to win this game.
