Desmond Penigar sank a buzzer-beater and propelled Sagesse past Homenetmen on the road. The victory sealed the semifinal birth for Sagesse. Homenetm. B cut a 16-point first quarter deficit to one at the end of the game. American forward Desmond Penigar (201-81, college: Utah St.) fired 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international Elie Stephan (193-86, college: Alabama So. CC) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Sagesse players scored in double figures. American point guard Dion Dixon (190-89, college: Cincinnati) produced 26 points and Canadian center Michael Fraser (203-84, college: Oklah.Baptist) added 15 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side.
