Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Handlova's 40. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Kelvin Parker (184-82, college: NW Missouri St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. The former international power forward Martin Rancik (205-78, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Croatian swingman Luka Drezga (196-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) answered with 26 points and the former international Roman Vido (204-88) added 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Handlova. Five Inter Bratislava and four Handlova players scored in double figures. Handlova's coach Branko Maksimovic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
