Quarter-Finals Round 4: Spojnia - Legia 65-76

Legia upset Spojnia on the road and advanced into the semifinal stage of the championship. The game was mostly controlled by Legia. Spojnia managed to win third quarter 21-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game, while Spojnia only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Spojnia 50-31 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Spojnia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Cezary Trybanski (217-79) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and forward Arkadiusz Kobus (197-86, agency: Promotex) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Marcin Stoklosa (185-77) responded with 23 points and swingman Piotr Pluta (193-81, agency: Promotex) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
