Finals Game 1: Sodertalje - Uppsala 93-63

Date: April 19, 2015
Sodertalje drew first blood in the Basketligan championship series. They fired past Uppsala at home court in the opener. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-63. Sodertalje Kings shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 assists. Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) answered with 9 points and 11 rebounds and Rickard Eriksson (190-82) added 18 points in the effort for Uppsala Basket. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
