Ironi Ashkelon was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Ironi Ashkelon 49-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. American forward Lorenzo Gordon (201-83, college: Oklahoma City) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) chipped in 29 points and 10 rebounds.
