Finals Game 2: Northland - Umea 66-51

Northland beat Umea for the second consecutive victory in Damligan Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Northland. Umea managed to win third quarter 14-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Northland outrebounded Umea 54-38 including a 41-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international power forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's) scored 9 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Lithuanian forward Lina Pikciute (192-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Slovakian center Klaudia Lukacovicova (195-90) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Umea's coach Mikael Blomqvist rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
