Quarter-Finals Round 1: Limeira - Brasilia 93-76

Limeira thrashed Brasilia to spur ahead in the quarterfinals. The game without a history. Winner/Limeira led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Winner/Limeira looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for the former international point guard Welington Dos Santos (185-81) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws). American forward Christopher Hayes (203-87, college: Detroit Mercy) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Hayes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Winner/Limeira players scored in double figures. International Guilherme Giovannoni (203-80, agency: Interperformances) answered with 22 points (made all of his eight free throws) and American guard Kyle Lamonte (191-84, college: William Carey) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Brasilia. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
