It looked good early as Inter Bratislava took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Handlova had a 21-17 second period charge getting the lead and Inter Bratislava was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-77. They outrebounded Inter Bratislava 49-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. Serbian guard Krsto Bjelica (192-88, agency: PEPI SPORT) saved the victory by scoring 15 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian forward Ivan Smiljanic (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Handlova's coach Branko Maksimovic used entire bench in such tough game. American point guard Kelvin Parker (184-82, college: NW Missouri St.) replied with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Martin Rancik (205-78, college: Iowa St.) added 17 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Inter Bratislava. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures.
