Umea opened win count in Damligan championship series. They held off Northland at home court to force the fourth game in the series. The hosts trailed by 11 points at the halftime before their 36-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Umea forced 21 Northland turnovers. It was a great evening for American-Italian swingman Pamela Rosanio (178-86, college: Massachusetts) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian forward Lina Pikciute (192-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) helped adding 10 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was international power forward Josefin Vesterberg (190-93) with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91) scored 15 points and 5 assists.
