Ironi K-A fired past Elitzur Yavne to sweep the quarterfinal series. Ironi Kiryat Ata led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Elitzur Yavne's 30. They outrebounded Elitzur Yavne 54-34 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ironi Kiryat Ata looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Elitzur Yavne's players. American power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Tomer Ginat (202-94) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Ironi Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures. American guard Mark Tyndale (196-86, college: Temple) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Naor Sharon (193-95) scored 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
