Finals Game 1: Familia Schio - Ragusa 82-50

Familia Schio coasted past Ragusa for the opening victory in Seria A1 Finals. The game without a history. Familia Schio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ragusa to just 6 points in second and fourth quarters. They outrebounded Ragusa 41-30 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. American Jolene Anderson (175-86, college: Wisconsin) fired 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. French center Isabelle Yacoubou (190-86, agency: Comsport) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Familia Schio players scored in double figures. American Plenette Pierson (186-81, college: Texas Tech) produced 14 points and the other American import power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California, agency: Merit Management Group) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
