Rieker Komarno upset Prievidza on the road in the opening game of the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Rieker KN. Prievidza managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rieker KN shot 60.4 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. American point guard T.J. Bannister (180-84, college: Liberty, agency: Inception Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 assists for the winners. Croatian forward Sasa Jankovic (204-84) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Five Rieker KN players scored in double figures. Croatian forward Igor Maric (196-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) produced 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and international center Michal Batka (204-87) added 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Prievidza's coach Krunoslav Krajnovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
