Cathay Life fired past Taiyuan T. and swept the championship series. The game without a history. Cathay Life led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Cathay Life outrebounded Taiyuan Textile 41-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Liu Chun-Yi (180-81) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international guard Fan-Shan Huang (174-87) supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Cathay Life's coach Ling Yao Hung allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 18 points by international forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-92) did not help to save the game for Taiyuan Textile. International guard Chi-Fang Chang (174-93) added 13 points for Cathay Life.
