Regular Season Round 55: Okinawa GK - Shiga L-Stars 60-77

There was a small surprise when fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (34-18) defeated on the road much higher ranked Okinawa GK (42-10) 77-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Shiga L-Stars led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Shiga L-Stars outrebounded Okinawa GK 36-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) fired 17 points for the winners. His fellow American import guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 18 points. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) produced 13 points and 4 assists and guard Ryuichi Kishimoto (176-90) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shiga L-Stars maintains fourth place with 34-18 record. Okinawa GK at the other side keeps the second position with ten games lost.
