No shocking result in a game in Starogard where fourth ranked Energa Czarni (21-9) defeated 15th ranked Polpharma (7-23) 91-86. The guests were already 13 points ahead at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 29-16 last quarter charge of Polpharma cut the lead to 91-86 at the end of the game. Energa Czarni dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Polpharma's 32. They outrebounded Polpharma 42-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Energa Czarni players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Point guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) notched 11 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and guard Kyle Shiloh (188-85, college: Nevada) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Even 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Jessie Sapp (188-86, college: Georgetown) did not help to save the game for Polpharma. point guard Anthony Miles (185-89, college: Lamar) added 21 points. Five Energa Czarni and four Polpharma players scored in double figures. Energa Czarni maintains fourth position with 21-9 record, which they share with Slask Wroclaw and Rosa Radom. Polpharma lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 23 games lost.
