Limeira shot down Brasilia to step closer to the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by Winner/Limeira. Brasilia managed to win second period 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. Winner/Limeira shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for American guard David Jackson (195-82, college: Penn St.) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The former international point guard Welington Dos Santos (185-81) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Center Ronald Reis (211-91) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and international Guilherme Giovannoni (203-80, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Brasilia in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Brasilia's coach Jose Carlos Vidal tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest.
