Finals Game 3: Ragusa - Familia Schio 56-52

Ragusa claimed the second straight victory in Seria A1 championship series. They held off Familia Schio to gain 2-1 lead. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 31-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Ragusa dominated on the defensive end, holding Familia Schio to just 7 points in third quarter. The best player for the winners was American power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Her fellow American import Plenette Pierson (186-81, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 7 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was French center Isabelle Yacoubou (190-86, agency: Comsport) who recorded 9 points and 16 rebounds and the former international guard Giorgia Sottana (178-88) added 12 points respectively. Familia Schio's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
