Quarter-Finals Round 3: Rosa Radom - AZS Koszalin 86-75

Rosa Radom rolled past AZS Koszalin to sweep the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Rosa. AZS Koszalin was better in third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded AZS Koszalin 39-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American guard Michael Taylor (186-86, college: Iowa St.) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import point guard Danny Gibson (177-84, college: S.Indiana) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Qyntel Woods (202-81, college: N.Mississippi JC) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Krzysztof Szubarga (178-84) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for AZS Koszalin. Four Rosa and five AZS Koszalin players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
