Quarter-Finals Round 2: Verviers-Pep. - Oostende 90-96

Oostende dropped Verviers-Pepinster on the road and advanced into the semifinal stage. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 33-19. But VOO Verviers-Pepinster won second period 27-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oostende made 32-of-38 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 VOO Verviers-Pepinster turnovers. Serbian guard Dusan Djordjevic (193-83, agency: Beo Basket) scored 23 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Dominique Archie (200-87, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Four Oostende players scored in double figures. Oostende's coach Dario Gjergja used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian Nikola Jankovic (205-94) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and American guard Brandon Freeman (191-83, college: UALR) scored 23 points.
