The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-10. But Panathinaikos won second period 26-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Panathinaikos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Giannoulis Larentzakis (195-93, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Angelos Tsamis (192-81) chipped in 6 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
