Riyadi posted the third consecutive victory in Lebanese League Finals. They survived an overtime thriller versus Byblos to open 3-0 lead in the title series. UBA was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 5-11s. Al Riyadi made 31-of-33 free shots (93.9 percent) during the game, while UBA only scored four points from the stripe. UBA was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American Jasmon Youngblood (195-84, college: Kent St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists and the former international point guard Mohammed Ibrahim (196-83) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Four UBA players scored in double figures.
