Manital Torino rallied past Brescia to gain 2-1 lead in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Manital Torino. C.de Latte BRE was better in fourth quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded C.de Latte BRE 37-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. C.de Latte BRE was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American Ronald Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St.) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Stefano Mancinelli (204-83) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Manital Torino players scored in double figures. Manital Torino's coach Luca Bechi felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Justin Brownlee (201-88, college: St.John's) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized American guard Mirza Alibegovic (197-92) added 15 points in the effort for C.de Latte BRE.
