Venezuela earned the seventh position in Toronto. They rallied past Dominican Republic tonight. Roselis Silva tallied 31 points to pace the winners. Venezuela posted a 42:36 halftime lead. They went on a 20:7 rally in the third term to boost the gap at 19-point mark. Dominican Republic narrowed the gap in the fourth term but could not rescue the game. Waleska Perez and Yosimar Corrales had 13 points each for the winners. Sugeiry Monsac responded with 13 points and 13 rebounds for Dominican Republic.
