Dominican Republic recorded the second victory in Group A. They outgunned Guatemala to advance into the semifinal stage. Six players scored in double digits for the winners. Justin Minaya recorded 15 points to lead the charge. Jose Perez had 13 points for Dominican Republic. They used a 29:8 run in the second period to clear off for good. David Sequeira responded with 19 points for Guatemala.
