Not a big story in a game when 4th placed Patriotas (4-3) were rolled over on the road by leader Bucaros (7-0) 94-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Bucaros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Patriotas' 32. They outrebounded Patriotas 50-32 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bucaros looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Patriotas' players. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Jordan Demercy (201-88, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: Blacktop Management) helped adding 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Bucaros players scored in double figures. At the losing side Jereal Scott (203-89, college: SF Austin) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Michael Sneed (196-82, college: Texas Southern) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Patriotas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bucaros have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Newly promoted Bucaros maintains first place with 7-0 record. Defending champion Patriotas keep the fourth position with three games lost. Bucaros will have a break next round. Patriotas will play at home against Patriotas T. (#10) and hope to win that game.
