Costa Rica wrapped up their Centrobasket campaign on a high note. They nipped Barbados in the battle for the seventh position. Stephan Campbell stepped up with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Costa Rica and Barbados were tied at 28 at the big break. Costa Rica spurred ahead for a 41:38 advantage at the final break. Barbados knocked down 19 points in the fourth frame but could not avoid the defeat. Steven Mcdonald delivered 12 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Amal Smith responded with 17 points and 17 rebounds for Barbados.
