Cuba cruised past Chile to improve at 3-0 record on top of Group A. Clenia Noblet finished with 16 points and 8 caroms for the winning side. Cuba led by just 7 points at the interval 37:30. However they unloaded 51 points in the second half and marched to a well-deserved win at the end. Yamara Amargo posted 15 points for the winners. Barbara Cousino responded with 16 points for Chile who played without their leader Ziomara Morrison.
