Canada registered the fourth straight win in Edmonton. The hosts knocked down Cuba to clinch the top position in Group A. Kia Nurse finished with 14 points for the winners. Canada recorded a 42:19 halftime lead. They controlled the tempo in the second half and cruised to the win. Miranda Ayim and Natalie Achonwa finished with 12 points each for Canada. Anisleidys Galindo responded with 12 points for Cuba.
