Cuba held off Argentina in overtime to advance into FIBA Americas Championship Final. Clenia Noblet tallied 29 points and 14 rebounds to lead the winners. Cuba recorded a 45:33 halftime lead. Argentina responded with a strong 27:13 rally in the third term to surge ahead. But Cuba slowed their opponents down in the fourth term and forced overtime. Cuba went on a 16:6 run in the extra period and sealed the victory. Ineidis Casanova recorded 17 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds for the winners. Ornella Santana responded with 18 points for Argentina.
