Canada registered the first victory at the 2015 Marchand Cup. They knocked down Argentina in San Juan. Wiggins stepped up with 18 points to pace the winners. Canada unloaded 30 points in the first period to open a 7-point lead. Canada held their opponents to just 14 points in the second frame to record a 45:37 halftime lead. Canada stayed in control throughout the third term. The North American team ensured a 10-point lead at the final intermission. Argentina dropped 30 points in the fourth frame but just sweetened the pill at the end. Scrubb netted 12 points, while Powell added 11 points for Canada. Scola and Nocioni responded with 23 points for Argentina.
