Brazil eked out a 20:19 lead after the opening frame. They stretched the gap in the second frame. Brazil accumulated 37:34 halftime advantage. They knocked down 26 points in the third frame to secure a 9-point lead at the final break. The teams traded baskets throughout the fourth frame to race to the win.
