Quarter-Finals Round 2: Henan - Heilongjiang 121-96

Henan tied things up in the quarterfinal series versus Heilongjiang. They knocked down their opponents at home court for 1-1 tie. The game was mostly controlled by Henan. Heilongjiang was better in fourth quarter 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Henan shot 62.9 percent from the field and made 26-of-32 charity shots (81.3 percent) during the game, while Heilongjiang only scored eight points from the stripe. Henan had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Heilongjiang was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Tiny Gallon (206-91, college: Oklahoma, agency: Three Eye Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 52 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Zhengbo Wang (187-96) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Even 26 points by forward Xuepeng Song (195-92) did not help to save the game for Heilongjiang. Guard Xiaobo Zhang (188-93) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Four Heilongjiang players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
