Zabiny dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Strakonice's 26. Serbian forward Maja Vucurovic (187-91, agency: Josep and Nicolas) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Natalie Stoupalova (183-98) supported her with 16 points. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by swingman Jolana Krejcova (177-96) did not help to save the game for Strakonice. Forward Michaela Drachovska (183-86) added 14 points for the hosts. Zabiny will play against Sokol Hradec Kralove at home in the next round. Strakonice will play against SBS Ostrava and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
