Mexico sealed their COCABA Championship Final appearance. They knocked down hosting Costa Rica in the semifinal clash. Karen Ruiz scored 18 points to lead the effort. Mexico got to a strong start. They established a comfortable 33:14 halftime lead. Mexico followed with a 20:10 run in the third term to clear off for good. Brisa Silva had 15 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds for Mexico. Ana Matamoros responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds for Costa Rica.
