Regular Season Round 3: MBK Ruzomb. - BAM Poprad 89-48

MBK Ruzomberok (3-0) crushed at home BAM Poprad (0-3) by 41 points 89-48, which is the biggest margin this round on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by MBK Ruzomberok. BAM Poprad managed to win fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BAM Poprad to just 5 points in first quarter. MBK Ruzomberok dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to BAM Poprad's 28. MBK Ruzomberok forced 24 BAM Poprad turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Zuzana Lazarova (168-87) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. International forward Katarina Tetemondova (188-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Lucia Hadacova (190-95) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Katarina Petrikova (182-80) added 16 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MBK Ruzomberok will meet Piestanske C. in the next round. BAM Poprad will play against Cassovia K. and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
