Regular Season Round 2: Blois - Bordeaux 86-64

The most surprising game was a loss of JSA Bordeaux (1-1) on the court of ADA Blois on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by ADA Blois 86-64. The game was mostly controlled by ADA Blois. JSA Bordeaux managed to win second period 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by JSA Bordeaux helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Benjamin Monclar (188-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 4 assists. British-Ghanian center Eric Boateng (208-85, college: Arizona St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four ADA Blois players scored in double figures. American Kevin Rogers (206-86, college: Baylor) replied with 9 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Sammy Yeager (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) added 19 points in the effort for JSA Bordeaux. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ADA Blois is looking forward to face CFBB (#17) in Paris in the next round which should be another easy win for them. JSA Bordeaux will play at home against GET Vosges (#18) and is hoping to win this game.
