The game between closely ranked teams ended with Vysocina's (2-1) home victory over MMCITE Brno 2 (0-2) 81-61. 30 personal fouls committed by MMCITE Brno 2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Martin Straznicky (180-94) who led the winners and scored 24 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Jiri Soula (185-95) accounted for 18 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winning side. Forward Zdenek Nehyba (197-95) came up with 11 points and swingman Marian Hrabovsky (198-94) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for MMCITE Brno 2 in the defeat. MMCITE Brno 2's coach Petr Kovas rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Vysocina's next round opponent will be Sokol Hradec Kralove on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. MMCITE Brno 2 will play against VK VSB Ost. (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
