Regular Season Round 4: Havirov - Zlin 72-67

There was an upset when higher ranked SKB Zlin (2-2) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Havirov (1-3) 72-67 on Friday. Guard Jan Lycka (186-93) fired 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Jan Landor (186) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. Four Havirov players scored in double figures. Havirov's coach Kamil Fajta used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Michal Susak (203-77) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and David Nehoda (193-91) added 26 points and 6 steals respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Havirov maintains ninth position in Group B with 1-3 record. Loser SKB Zlin keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Havirov will face higher ranked Vysocina (#6) in Jihlava in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SKB Zlin will play at home against the league's leader Pardubice having rather not much hope for a victory.
