No shocking result in a game when third ranked Sparta Praha (3-1) defeated at home 7th ranked Sokol Pisek (1-2) 76-67 on Friday. Sparta Praha shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Serbian swingman Djordje Dimitrijevic (192-97) fired 23 points and 6 assists for the winners. Center David Jelinek (200-97) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Sparta Praha players scored in double figures. Swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) produced 18 points and 5 assists and guard Radek Vartecky (186-94) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Sparta Praha maintains third position in Group A with 3-1 record behind leader Loko Plzen. Newly promoted Sokol Pisek keeps the seventh place with two games lost.
