Regular Season Round 3: Biofarm PZN - Krosno 51-76

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Biofarm PZN (2-1) in Poznan on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Krosno (3-0) 76-51. Krosno outrebounded Biofarm PZN 47-27 including a 38-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for center Dariusz Wyka (209-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Center Jakub Dluski (200-87) contributed with 6 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) answered with 11 points and 5 steals and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) added 13 points in the effort for Biofarm PZN. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Krosno is looking forward to face Legia in Warszawa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Biofarm PZN will play on the road against Znicz Basket in Pruszkow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
