Regular Season Round 3: Kormend - KTE-Duna Aszfalt 93-57

Everything went according to plan when Kormend (3-0) outleveled at home KTE-Duna Aszfalt (1-2) 93-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kormend led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to KTE-Duna Aszfalt's 36. They outrebounded KTE-Duna Aszfalt 44-19 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kendrick Perry (183-92, college: Youngstown St.) who scored 22 points. His fellow American import forward Cole Dickerson (201-91, college: USF) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Kormend players scored in double figures. Kormend's coach Teo Cizmic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) added 10 points respectively. Kormend will face Jaszberenyi on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. KTE-Duna Aszfalt will play against Alba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
