Bucaros registered the second straight victory in the Liga DirecTV Finals. They outgunned Piratas at home court to gain 2-0 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Bucaros. Piratas managed to win second period 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. American forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Horace Wormely (168-84, college: Vanguard) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 assists for the winners. The former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valparaiso) replied with 23 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Brandon Givens (198-87, college: NC-Wesleyan) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Piratas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
