BK Pardubice was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Opava 78-75 on Monday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But BK Pardubice won third quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BK Opava forced 22 BK Pardubice turnovers. The former international guard Jakub Sirina (186-87) fired 22 points for the winners. Center Viktor Cvek (200-89) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four BK Opava players scored in double figures. The former international forward Radek Necas (206-80) produced 2 points and 18 rebounds and the former international forward Lukas Kotas (193-84) added 16 points respectively for lost side. BK Opava will face Basketbal Svitavy at home in the next round. BK Pardubice will play against USK Praha and hope to win that game.
