An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ruzomberok. Second ranked MBK Ruzomberok faced 4th placed Samorin. Host MBK Ruzomberok (5-2) smashed guests from Samorin (3-3) 90-54. The game without a history. MBK Ruzomberok led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international point guard Zuzana Lazarova (168-87) fired 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. International swingman Dominika Baburova (179-91) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. International guard Angelika Slamova (173-94) produced 9 points and 6 assists and power forward Alexandra Haskova (180-97) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. MBK Ruzomberok maintains second place with 5-2 record having just -2 point less than leader Good Angels. Samorin at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Banska Bystrica. MBK Ruzomberok are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Cassovia K. (#8) in Kosice in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Samorin will play on the road against the league's leader Good Angels (#1) in Kosice and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
