The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Magnitka-Univ. (0-1) in Nizhny Tagil on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Stary Sobol NT (1-0) 60-50. Stary Sobol NT forced 25 Magnitka-Univ. turnovers. Power forward Aleksey Vagner (204-83) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Forward Ilya Aginskikh (203-94) chipped in 7 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Yegor Tikanov (194-92) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Ivan Dudnik (196-94) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stary Sobol NT is again looking forward to face Magnitka-Univ. in Magnitogorsk in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
