Finals Game 3: Piratas - Bucaros 95-100

Bucaros stepped closer to the Liga DirecTV title. They earned the third straight victory in the Finals following a road win over Piratas. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Piratas won fourth quarter 25-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bucaros looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for American forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Horace Wormely (168-84, college: Vanguard) contributed with 21 points and 9 assists for the winners. The former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valparaiso) answered with 30 points and 8 rebounds and Venezuelan guard Jovanni Diaz (195-92) added 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Piratas. Five Bucaros and four Piratas players scored in double figures.
