Rather predictable result in Jihlava where sixth ranked Vysocina (3-2) outscored 9th ranked Havirov (1-4) 63-38 on Friday. Vysocina forced 24 Havirov turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Martin Novak (199-93) who scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Pavel Ciha (201-92) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Vysocina's coach Petr Pesout felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Jan Lycka (186-93) produced 7 points and 4 assists and center Jan Kolonicny (207) added 9 points respectively for the guests. Vysocina moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Zlin and Opava B. Newly promoted Havirov keeps the ninth position with four games lost. Vysocina will face higher ranked Pardubice (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Havirov will play against VK VSB Ost. (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
