Extraliga top team - Good Angels (7-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Samorin (3-5) in Kosice 92-45. Good Angels dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Samorin's 24. Good Angels forced 28 Samorin turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Samorin's players. The winners were led by Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) who scored that evening 22 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and Czech center Romana Stehlikova (189-85) supported her with 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Good Angels' coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 20 points by international guard Angelika Slamova (173-94) did not help to save the game for Samorin. point guard Alexandra Riecka (170-78) added 12 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Good Angels have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-0 record. Samorin lost third consecutive game.
