Regular Season Round 3: Svitavy - USK Praha 68-63

Basketbal Svitavy (2-1) beat at home USK Praha (1-2) by 5 points 68-63, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Strangely USK Praha outrebounded Basketbal Svitavy 36-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Milan Jaros (212-91) who scored 23 points (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). Canadian point guard Jahmal Jones (183-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 assists. Four Basketbal Svitavy players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Petr Safarcik (193-94) who recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds and Bosnian power forward Igor Josipovic (205-88) added 14 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Basketbal Svitavy will meet NH Ostrava (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. USK Praha will play against BK Kolin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
